I recently took the MTL weekend, followed by six weeks of practice meetings. It's hard to find words to express how much I gained both in tools for finding More to Life as well as friendship. As a way of saying thank you I'd like to share a little ditty I wrote that reflects some of what I learned during the weekend.

More To Life

The world around us does not conspire
To make us sad or sore.
It’s our thoughts and our perceptions
Which make life less or more.

There is more to life than just reaction
To whatever comes along.
If we notice our feelings and core beliefs
And how we make ourselves wrong.

Then choose authority of our own
To respond in a positive vein
For there’s more to life than defensiveness
As our own power we gain

There’s more to life than we’ve dared to hope
When to ourselves we are true.
Noticing life and all that it holds
Will bring the abundance we’re due.
