For at least a year now, Tom Parish has been encouraging me to start a blog. He's reasoned and cajoled, he's provided articles and statistics showing the benefits of blogging in organizations, he's offered his experience and know-how...
You get the picture. It took quite a while for me to be willing to take the leap, compose that first post and hit the "Publish" button. Whew!
Tom is quite the Internet marketing guru / blogger / commentator. Many of you also know Tom through Sharon Parish or perhaps through the blog that he created following her illness and death. Tom is a good friend and a fine man who is dedicated to doing his part to create an inheritable world.
Tom, thank you for your gentle persistence.
I also want to acknowledge Jenny Meadows, a friend of mine for 23 years! Jen is an excellent copy editor by trade and an advanced student of our program. She has helped me with the intricacies of posting several times already - sometimes quite late at night. She almost always has a "sure, I can do that" response for me. Thanks, Jen!
And Michael Leggett, our very own Google guy (yes, he works there). He's given us some excellent pointers on building the blog template. I appreciate you, Michael, and your many contributions over the years.
I've been meaning to write this post for several weeks and I'm so glad I took the time to do so before calling it a day today.
The expression of gratitude...there's really nothing like it, is there?

Thank YOU, Peg!
I'm thrilled that you took that leap of faith and started blogging. I know it's a big step as well as a time commitment, but it's going to reap BIG rewards.
You're a delight to help -- and you're a fast learner.
Hugs,
Jen
Peggy,
I love the blog!
As a student of this work for nearly 25 years, I find the blog an amazing way to communicate with one another in thoughtful ways.
I especially appreciate the way you and Ann Mc, in particular, keep the messages on target while encouraging readers to look within at the lifeshocks approaching us regularly.
And I also appreciate the brevity of the responses, which is a time saver for all of us.
Thanks to Tom and Jenny for the "behind the scenes" work, as well.
With love and gratitude,

Thank you Tom and Jenny for your encouragment to Peggy to use this incredible medium. I can see the power and tremendous value this offers us as an organisation. Regular updates and news bulletins are so easily transmitted and as more of us use the blog, it becomes more effective. So it is time to spread the word further to our fellow students! Thank you both. With gratitude, Clare Vivian-Neal in New Zealand
Peggy,
Thank you for this forward thinking addition to Kairos. I'm excited about the communication that can happen with us all!
Much love,
Jan
Peggy, thanks for the blog. Ken
